Moon & Co. opened in 2023 on the Central Coast of California with the vision of being a botanical wonderland for all plant lovers to enjoy. Carrying everything from easy-care, common houseplants to the rare and hard-to-find exotics, our goal is to find the perfect plant for every person and every space. We also stock all the accessories for a flourishing urban jungle such as artisan pots, organic soil, well-crafted tools, and botanically inspired gifts and home goods. 

Owner/Founder Sara Chavis started her own plant journey ten years ago while living in Portland, OR, and rescued her dog, Moon, the namesake of the shop, around the same time. Upon relocating to the Central Coast in 2019, she missed the plant stores and indoor nurseries so plentiful in Portland and decided to open her own. Moon & Co. reflects her passion for indoor tropicals and botanical rarities and strives to be a lush and welcoming space for the community.
